Next week, our St. Matthew family will embark into a world of “pure imagination” as St. Matthew Lutheran School proudly presents, “Willy Wonka Jr.!”
Please join chocolatier, Mr. Willy Wonka, as he promises a tour of his famous chocolate factory and a lifetime supply of chocolate to five children who located a “Golden Ticket” inside one of his popular Wonka candy bars. However, one by one, we will watch each of the five winners become eliminated during the tour due to their own misbehavior until Charlie is the only one left. Will Charlie pass Mr. Wonka’s test? Join us on May 2nd or 3rd to find out!
Presale for advanced tickets sales ends this Friday, so please send your ticket orders into the school office by 4:00 p.m. this Friday! All presold ticket orders will be filled on Monday, April 28th, and distributed on Tuesday, April 29th.
While you attend the show, please stop by our own “Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory” Concession Stand for delicious delicacies such as Chocolate Schnozberries, Chocolate teacups, Willy Wonka cookies, and numerous other treats. In addition, we will also sell the famous Wonka Chocolate Bars with numerous Golden Tickets hidden inside, including a classroom pool party at Mrs. Palka’s house.
Although Mr. Wonka selected to distribute only five golden tickets, through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we all have received the ultimate “Golden Ticket” of eternal life through our faith in Him. And, just like the Candy Man but only better, Jesus mixes everything with love and makes the world taste good!
